Group DVM is an online veterinary buying group. We feature daily or weekly deals from product manufacturers or authorized dealers at unbeatable prices. By offering our vendor partners a guaranteed minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We are leveraging the collective buying power of the independent veterinary professional!
Do I have to sign up a group of veterinary hospitals to get the deal?
No. We have thousands of members and add new members every day. However, the power of our membership does increase when you refer a colleague or send them information about a deal that you think might interest them. The larger we become- the better the deals for everyone!
I like the current deal - how do I purchase it?
Just click "BUY" before the offer ends. If the minimum number of members choose to purchase the deal we'll charge your card and send you a confirmation email. If not enough people join, no one gets it (and you won't be charged), so invite your colleagues to make sure you get the deal!
I purchased the Group DVM deal and we reached the minimum number of member purchases- now what?
You will receive an email confirming the deal is on and that your credit card has been charged. You will then receive an email containing a delivery confirmation once the product has been shipped.
Is there a membership fee for Group DVM?
No, there is no cost to join for verified veterinary professionals.
Is there a minimum number of purchases that I must make to keep my Group DVM membership?
No, but we are confident that we will offer something for everyone. If you are not seeing products or services that meet the needs of your clinic, we welcome your suggestions at contact@groupdvm.com.
Do I have to be a licensed veterinarian to join Group DVM?
No, but you must be a practicing veterinary professional (vet tech, practice manager, etc.) at an active veterinary hospital. We understand that staff members other than the veterinarian often handle the hospital purchasing.However, only licensed veterinarian members are able to purchase prescription products.
What prevents non-veterinary professionals from purchasing on Group DVM.
Members must be an active veterinary professional working at an active veterinary hospital. State veterinary licenses are validated for all prescription item purchases and all products will only be shipped to an active veterinary hospital.
Is Group DVM safe?
Extremely. Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers.
Will Group DVM sell or share my information?
No, we will never sell your information. Your purchase and delivery information will only be shared with our vendor partners to facilitate delivery of your purchases.
Can I use my existing distributor for delivery of the product?
The fulfillment partner for the product will vary depending on the deal. When at all possible, we encourage product manufacturers to include all of their authorized distributors in the deal and let you choose. Some deals might come directly from a single authorized distributor or directly from the product manufacturer. You will always know who will be providing the product before you purchase the deal.
Is the product offered in the Group DVM deals ever diverted or from the "grey market"?
Absolutely not. Group DVM protects our members by only working directly with the product manufacturers or their authorized distribution partners.
Can I return items purchased on Group DVM?
Our Returns Policy is fairly simple: in nearly every scenario, if you would like to cancel your order, we refund your purchase on the spot. Common Scenarios: "Even though the minimum participation has not been met yet, I've changed my mind and don't want to purchase the deal" No problem. We never charge your credit card until the minimum participation has been met. In this case, if you let us know prior to the minimum being met, you will not be charged either way. "The minimum participation has been met but I've changed my mind and do not want to purchase the deal afterall" No problem, if the product has not been shipped, we will issue an immediate refund. "I purchased the deal, the product has been shipped, but I've changed my mind and don't want to purchase the deal" In most cases, no problem. Once you have the product in your possession, we will coordinate a return authorization with the supplier and issue you a refund once you have verified that you have sent the product back. Standard qualifiers apply, such as the product must be unopened, complete, and return of this item is allowed by law. Just give us a call and we'll work through it with you. We'll handle everything! How does Group DVM make money?
In exchange for designing the deal, customizing the email communication, hosting the site, providing customer service, coordinating the fulfillment of the orders, and managing the promotion, Group DVM receives a transaction fee from each order from the product manufacturer or authorized distributor.
